My concern about JJ's return

How does it affect Mett's development and how will it impact him and the team next year? Will JJ take Mett's reps in practice and see playing time that might have otherwise gone to Mett?
I have no ill will toward Jordan Jefferson but I see little to no upside, other than to him personally, to his return.

That is the first concern I've read that actually makes good sense. As the backup Mett is being well prepared prior to each game. Should he fall on the depth chart his preperation will diminish. Also, every time Mett sees the field in 2011 is an huge plus for 2012.

Mett wouldn't play unless it is on mop-up duty with or without JJ back. JJ will serve as change-of-pace if needed and Mett will still wait until late to come in if the game is in hand. Won't be surprised if JJ gets mop-up vs UK just to knock the rust off.
