Changed my mind about JJ possibly coming back.

Initially I looked a JJ's return as distraction to a team that has obviously come together really well. I didn't want him to come back.

But there's a likelyhood that JL will get injured at some point this year. Would be nice to have an experienced senior coming off the bench instead of an unproven Mett.

Best case scenerio...JJ returns as a backup. Is not a distraction to the team. And hopefully we don't need him, but he's there if we do.

Order of business one for saban is to knock lee out of the game. Fact.

You sure about that?

I'll take Mett... he fits with this play-action pass offense that's the best we've seen since 2007. No JJ for me.

I disagree. Mett. is the future at LSU & needs snaps. At this point in the season I think JJ will be a distraction. He would have to earn his place back on the team. But u maybe right because LES loves him some JJ!

This is key. Why any LSU fan would not want to add a player who has started and won huge games at the QB position is beyond me. And don't worry, he is not coming in and starting. But having that extra depth can only help.

If JL goes down, I'll take JJ against Bama. You take Mett. Good luck.

If comes back as the back up, I'm all for it. I think we need him down th road. My fear is that miles either gives him the start or splits time w lee. That would be horrible as this offense is finally getting an identity and performing.

I am shocked that people don't understand this. I thought Wilson was going to get broken in half last week. The spear JJ took

Thankfully miles is smarter then people give him credit for. JJ will get some chances so he can be a viable option as would any coach in the same situation. Most teams don't have the luxury of 2 senior qb's.

And as soon as miles does it, the crying will be unbearable.

You'd rather give up on the possibility of a NC to get ready for next year?

I'm sure they'll just blitz and lead with the helmet again.. just like against wilson.

by a mile. I am terrified for met if he gets thrown in durring the bama game. We might need JJ to beat them with a healthy JL. Dual threats are the weekness of saban. They neutralize a fast and aggressive d.

Either one of these could be disasterous.

If it ain't broke then don't fix it.

You would rather JJ have no playing time this year in case he is needed?

After everything our coaches have done, some of you still don't have faith. Sad really.

is there any evidence that miles can make a correct decision regarding JJ? outside of the suspension?

I've moved beyond that. Now I'm all about calling out ignorance and laughing at them.

Yeah, let's not develop our starter for the next 2 years who just happens to fit our offense better than any QB we have.
