Inner Campus Parking for Kentucky Game Shuts Down @ 8:30 am

Just called LSU and they are planning to implement the pay-to-park plan as normal - i.e., shut the parking down on campus 3 hours prior to kickoff (8:30 am for 11:30 am kickoff). What kind of a..holes do they have calling these shots?!Seems for an 11:30 kickoff, they should throw us a bone (instead of boning us) and do away with parking fees for this game.

I just cant believe that if someone is willing to spend $40 to park...they have to be there by 8:30 in the freaking morning. There are going to be so many empty spots with everyone parking around the edge of campus between 9:30 and 11

At least they should adjust the price based on desirability of the game just like our tickets are different whether it's Northwestern St or Florida.

WTF? This parking plan needs to be fricking rescinded ASAP. That, or I'm going to mount a fricking armed insurrection. Myopic, priggish, stupid c*nt administrators who seem intent on repressing tailgating to fit some nebulous, unstated agenda. God damn it. I love tailgating.

If they were business savy, they'd leave campus open until kickoff allowing late comers to pay $40 to park. Instead, they won't even allow themselves to make money.

Wow, people are going to be parking in BFE and the heart of campus will be empty. Awesome. Sounds like a good time to start a rickshaw service.

Well, I'm pretty sure my fear of losing our spot is way out the window now.
eta: That also means that campus will be shut down @ 11:30 next week. I fully expect people to be parked on Lee Dr.
