Look, I'm not expecting a single yard from Lee's feet, but if everyone is covered, and there is daylight, can he not pick up a few by running? Seems like on one of his sacks there was a pretty big opening. Let the headbanging commence.

Seems like he has the skill set to match championship QB's Mauck/Flynn except both appear to be considerably better runners.

Faster, I would think, and more willing to run than Lee is.

And with the exception that neither was a game manager like Lee is being.

He has the ability to pick up a couple yards for us if no one is open, I'd rather him throw it away dont want to risk injury with someone who has never taken an important snap in college as our only other option

I agree with this post. We can't win without a running quarterback.

Bring back JJ.

He seems like one of those QB's that are just really reluctant to run. Obviously he's not great at it but he just seems to prefer to keep looking for someone to throw too.

He runs in from the sideline way better than Peyton.

He did on that roll-out pass against WVU! That's all the running I want to see out of Lee!

Man, I'm so happy for this guy. And yes, I cursed his very name in 2008!

From what I remember from 2008, he doesn't have the wheels. I remember wide open lanes where he needed to get a yard or two and they closed very quickly because he just doesn't have the acceleration. Its ok, he makes up for it with the passing.

He hasn't been sacked much that I recall. I would rather him stay in the pocket until someone is open or throw the ball away than to try and make something happen with his feet. Didn't he have a pretty big run in a game last year?

Lee is becoming less of a game manager with each game.

Please explain your reasoning on this. I do not disagree but want to find out if for the same reasons.

Lee is transitioning from manager to play maker.
