WVU reaches out to assaulted family, offers assistance

I'm sure they are much more thankful for messages left by random people than random people helping them deal with the attackers.

I think that we feel bad enough for what happened to these people. It is not to gain anything for being a good person to get into the SEC.

Nice gesture by the University. I get it. All the apologies still don't erase the pure classlessness everyone has spoken of from their trips.

not sure WVU would have much liability unless they were on campus and it could be proved that their police were negligent in some way

Yes, so what are you saying? If the guy would not have gotten his face bashed in or if it would have just been a fight and everyone walked off, the University would not have made a comment? You think no fights have ever happen outside of Tiger stadium after a game? Maybe it is just me missing your point on this.

It was one campus. The guy that got his head kicked in at the Dodger game is suing them for poor security.
