I imagine they would have to be in the west. Would they just take a permanent spot away from our rotating two SEC East teams? or would this mess with our permanent Florida rivalry?

I'm one that will gladly admit to a desire to drop Florida for at least a few years.

This may be bogus but this sched floating around has it still has it on.

They already know.

that sched is so full of fail no Mississippi State highly highly unlikely. I would guess the South Carolina game gets replaced. We have to have a return trip to Kentucky and South Carolina would be replacing Tennessee. So it fits to replace that game with the A&M game. Also A&M only gets two games from the east and it's vandy and kentucky? This had to be done by a dumb A&M fan.

Won't we play Florida in the swamp next year too? I thought we were just repeating the Home and home series.

Probable will have to drop someone like Towson. But we all know that the SEC commish will not overly inconvience Bama in this schedule. We will always have Fla. and now that A&m is added we will have to super every year to have a chance in the SEC.

I for one would like to keep Fla. on schedule every year, with that said, Les Miles as already stated he wouldn't mind dropping fla. off the schedule.

If we don't have Florida on our schedule in 2003 or 2007 I don't think we make it to the NC game. The thought of dropping a split program like Florida will help us is crazy. If we have a NC team we need to play all the best teams we can. Our strong schedule this year allow us to lose 1 or maybe 2 games and still make the NC game. We need to keep Florida.

Is it just me, or is anyone else regretting the whole aTm deal? I wish the SEC would have passed on this round of re-org.

Not me. Enough is enough with the SEC already... just drop an east game each year.

I think with the advent of these "Super Conferences" we are moving towards a playoff and there won't be such a need on being an undefeated or one loss team in order to make it to the NC game.

Florida was average, at best, in 2003. Plus we lost to them. How did that help us make it to the NC?

Sept 8 Washington? When does Arizona State make the trip that was originally scheduled in 2005?

Exactly, so if we didn't have Florida on the schedule in 2003 we probably would have went undefeated.

I like having Florida as well. They're a powerhouse team. Yes it's great to get to a national championship every year but I don't wait for football season all summer to watch just one game. The season itself is a journey. It becomes boring to watch LSU play teams we beat up on all game. It's exciting to watch big games with great opponents like Bama and Florida. Look how exciting this year has been so far and the anticipation we have for Florida and Bama. I don't want LSU to just win out, I want to see some real football. And then win out.
