Is it just me or has MNF never been the same since ESPN took over? It does not have that glamour and excitement anymore. I don't make time for MNF like I used to...I do make time for Sunday night football though.

ABC gives a better presentation than ESPN.. at both the college and NFL levels.

which shouldn't be a problems considering they are virtually the same thing.

Gruden is lame, Jaws is annoying, Tirico isn't anything special either.

it's because of the current over-saturation of NFL (and football in general). by the time Monday night rolls around most people have consumed so much football since Thursday night that they're not excited about it.

Does Hank Williams Jr. still sing the theme song?

If so, the magic is still alive.

TIA

It's the last game for the week. I love it.

Plus Gruden is awesome and if my teams were to ever have a coach leave, I would want him.

I think they also make some odd picks. Take last week's game...I'm not sure who thought that game had much national appeal.

Do they still show close-ups of Gruden's package?

Maybe if there were better matchups.

I could care less about watching Rex Grossman and the Redskins even if they are 2-0. Just like next week I have no interest in watching a Peyton Manning-less Colts play the Bucs. Similar to last week with the Giants playing the Rams.

Look at the MNF schedule this year. Not a lot lot of "Wow that's going to be a great game" games. LINK

To be fair I don't think espn thought manning would be out, otherwise that's a pretty good matchup

And it looks like you skipped several days in first grade which covered how to properly capitalize sentences.

The NBC broadcast is top notch too. I just hate, hate, hate their pregame guys.

Sunday night football is the old Monday night football. Monday night has become the same thing as the Thursday night game in college.

Although you always have to be pumped for the skins and th boys

I enjoy the Monday night games but they usually are pretty bad match ups. I can't stand Trico also.

Now Sunday night, thats a good game to always watch.
