Coming to BR for the game this weekend from MS. Because of the stupid laws here looking to stock up while down there. Where is the best beer selection in town? Thanks.

If you are looking for bottles Calandros is the best. That's not to say that other places don't hold their own. Matherines at Bluebonnet and Perkins is quality, Whole Foods, Marcellos, Martins Wine are some other in that order. You cannot go wrong with Calandros, Whole Foods or Matherines though.

Calandro's also has ALOT of 6 packs broken down to individual bottles and they don't upcharge much (if any) for it

I would hit Calandros on Perkins (NOT Government) and then run a couple blocks down Perkins to Bluebonnet and hit Mathernes. That will pretty much cover whats available in BR.

The Beverage Store on Florida is another decent place to look... not as big of a selection as Calandro's (on Perkins) or Matherne's but they always have better prices.

All good choices. Calandros, Whole Foods, both Matherne's (the Highland location has also stepped it up of late) and The Beverage Store.

I saw a few things here that I didn't at other places like Nora (Birrificio Le Baladin), Demon Hunter (Birrificio Montegioco) and a few others i can't remember. Had a decent Mikkeller selection also.

I know a couple of years ago when that place on Perkins was called Cork & Bottle they had the best beer selection in BR, I think its called Cuban now but not sure if they kept all the beer.

Yeah, Cuban is there... they have a good selection but it's not quite as good as some of the other places listed.

I think the Highland location may have a better selection than Bluebonnet/Perkins now. The have really increased the beer selection this year.
