1. LSU 4-0
Last Week: W, West Virginia 47-21
Why LSU Should Be No. 1: No one in America has a better body of work so far than the Tigers, which have beaten Oregon, Mississippi State and West Virginia by double-digits on the road. Their 39-point scoring has been collaborative effort involving the offense, opportunistic defense and special teams unit.
Why The Ranking Should Be Lower: The heralded LSU defense isn’t flawless after all. The unit showed some cracks against the up-tempo, speedy Mountaineers attack, yielding 463 yards and two touchdowns through the air to Geno Smith.

I just looked at the schedule. I think 7 wins is not out of the question. If yall can manage to beat Arizona at the end of the season you should go bowling.

I'm not going as far as to say we'll beat Arizona but the win over FIU was huge. FAU hasn't been good at all but we have a very young team this year so a slip up is worrisome. If we can beat Troy at home, we should win the conference.

Colorado should be thankful they ain't coming to Lafayette!

Two CUSA teams and an FCS school = a brutal schedule?
