He's a QB that is trying to be a WR. Truth is he should be used as a Reggie Bush type RB.

He's not a wide reciever! Average hands and not consistant in catching the ball. His skills are being in a spread offense at the QB position. What Oregon does.

The guy was set to be huge this year before the suspension.

Look for LSU coaches to get him going this weekend vs UK so he'll be more confident heading into the Florida game.

I agree here, I think he'd be a good spread option QB.

Still know that he will help us and I'm glad that he's a Tiger.

most of the passes that went to him were not very catchable...he made a great catch on a high pass...he will be fine.

He'll be ok

With the emergence of beckham, landry, etc I think we'll see him in more of the role he held as a frosh

It's the little things that is holding him back right now. On the catch he made, he just had to use his natural athletic ability to go up and get the ball, and then showed some nice hands in making the catch.

But on the 2 that he didn't get to, you could tell he just didn't know how to approach the ball. Both throws came in low, and he just tried to slow down and bend down to catch it. OBJ or Landry would have been able to go to the ground and still make a play on the ball. Not saying they would have caught them 100%, but there would have been better effort.

They should wildcat him a few times a game though -- esp. on a 2nd and short. Roll the dice on a home run.

The deal is, he's not a polished WR, but he's good enough to help LSU win games in a few different ways and will continue to play.

he'll be ok. needs to get back in the swing and build more of a rapport with his QB IMO. glad to have him back.

Remember when all of our "clearly better" wideout were dropping balls left and right against Oregon in their first game?

This was RS's first game.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad to have him. Just impatient to see the talent used for production rather than editorial fodder.

I agree with chicken. he was open twice on the seam route and jl threw the ball at his feet both times. jl also threw one at his feet on a flare pass. shep will explode if defenses focus on other offensive players.
