Mo Claiborne swung the momentum back to LSU on that fantastic return, but he missed a ton of tackles in the game. For a guy who everyone says is faster than PP7, he sure can't tackle anything like Peterson. PP7 wrapped people up, and if they did complete a pass on him, he clamped down on the WR and put him in the dirt.

Our DB's missed tackles all night, and Claiborne was the worst. Miles mentioned the poor tackling in his postgame interview with Erin Andrews, which leads me to believe they are going to be emphasizing it in practice. I'm just hoping they correct this before we face the speedy, juke happy UF skill players.

to this point we haven't missed but a handful of tackles. that has truly been one of the strengths of our defense. i agree that it will be emphasized this week and we shouldn't see that again.

Tackling was much better vs Oregon and MSU. I think he was playing off a little to far??

After re-watching the game, I'm convinced most of the tackles were missed out of being overaggressive. Instead of getting into good position to limit the gain to another yard or two, the DBs were flying in trying for the quick stop. They were much more under control against Oregon. YAC for WV was unreal Saturday night.
