We were #3 in the coaches poll last week. So we leap frogged (or tied) Bama, who just beat Arky by 24.

Meh...you could pretty much randomize the top 3 and make a good argument for it. The coaches (and the world) knows that the MNC Will be the SEC champ vs. Oklahoma.
I'm willing to give Oklahoma the benefit of the doubt for now but if they continue to start the way they started against Mizzou and their signature victory (FSU) continues to play like poo...then I'll change my mind.

This would be the hardest to make, but it would probably have to do with them starting at #1 and not wanting to penalize a team that is winning.
The alternative would be LSU and Bama at 1 & 2 but whats the point? That'll be decided on the field in a month.

wonder if all the Big 12 coaches with a vote had OU #1....maybe, maybe not... Human polls are just as flawed (political, etc...) as computer polls, which is why it is great to have a system that uses both.
