After reading multiple posts from WVU fans bragging about beating Chokelahoma & Georgia yrs ago, I posted this:
"Since you mentioned games from the past in expecting some nat'l respect for WVU, you overlooked some when WVU was in the nat'l spotlight. Remember your team going 11-0 in '93 & whining about not being discussed as a serious contender for the nat'l title? How did that opportunity vs SEC champ Florida in the Sugar Bowl go? Also, w/ a berth in the BCS title game on the line at home vs. a 4-7 opponent in '07, how did that work out for WVU? Selective memory about games from yrs ago by the Mountaineers in order to bolster their confidence vs LSU makes me laugh."
Mountaineer's answer: "Did your house float away?"
My response: "No, it didn't. Thanks for asking though. Say hello to your sister/wife for me!"

We used to say the same stupid shite before we became a powerhouse as well.
I remember being in college in 2001 and Florida was rolling in town. They were favorites, and I heard so many students talk about how we beat them in 1997, so inevitably, it was going to happen that weekend as well.
