I mean both sides lobbying the public for sympathy for their side by appearing on numerous radio shows spewing he said she said nonsense...You can't believe what either side is saying.

Shouldn't this be against some legal precedence or something?? There have been numerous cases over the years that have involved prominent people but I don't recall any of them using the media to gather support for their side.

Lots of high profile cases are argued in the court of public opinion.

By the actual lawyers representing both sides. Sure the media will cover it and spew out information based on the opinions of so called "experts", but I can't recall a lawyer for a particular case actually lobbying for his side on radio and TV shows.

LSU is 3-0. We have a great team with a solid QB for the first time since 2007. I don't care about the lawyers, the case, or the defendants at this point. None of it has to do with the football team anymore. We have moved on. I suggest you do the same. If for whatever reason you still have an interest, may I suggest you try the OT and leave the rant for football related topics?

Dumbest post ever. You got 20 or so more players signing a petition for Jefferson and Johns and you say it has nothing to do with the team anymore that is plain ignorant on your part. Speak for yourself and not the team. Keep your biased opinion to yourself. Thank you!!

If you were the victim or the accused you wouldn't have a problem with your lawyer being an advocate on your behalf.

The bigger problem is with the media sensationalizing everything.

so we're supposed to completely forget about two suspended lsu football players. That makes tons of common sense.

Not many cases involve a Defendant who is in a big time hurry for the legal charges to go away, so he can become a starting QB for a top 3 college football team.

I think the client/defendant is pleading with his lawyer to do something, anything.

So you'd like to see this drag out for a few more months or maybe a year?

Actually, this isn't unusual in high profile cases unless the court issues a gag order, and there's no case or judge at the moment to issue such an order. You probably notice it more because you're more interested in this case.
