Anybody here use their PS3 for watching Hulu Plus? I just started this recently and have been very disappointed in the performance. Lots of lag issues. I've read briefly on the Hulu forums and it seems this is a common problem. Anybody here have this issue, any solutions?

Hulu Plus works great on my Roku. Both the Roku and the PS3 are connected to the Wireless network, but if anything, the PS3 would have the better signal.

Also, I've used Netflix a lot on the PS3 and never had any issues streaming, including HD content.

it sucks for me too. it buffers too much. i have to use my xbox to watch hulu and now i've gotten to where i'll watch netflix on it too just because.

eta: my ps3 is hooked wireless to the internet and my 360 is ethernet connected. maybe that's the issue.

i think you get to watch the newer shows like the day after their original airing.

You get full seasons, and some past seasons, instead of just the last 5 episodes. You also get some better movies too.

Hulu Plus offers more episodes/shows. Where Hulu might offer a few recent episodes of a show, Hulu Plus will have all of the entire seasons.

Hulu Plus, a monthly subscription service, was launched in beta (preview) on June 29, 2010 and officially launched on November 17, 2010. Like the free version of Hulu, the video available on Hulu Plus also contains commercials. However, it offers subscribers an expanded content library in the form of full seasons and more episodes of shows already available through Hulu.

I'm not sure it would matter at this point. Sounds like it is just crap on the PS3 for whatever reason. Hulu is supposed to be working on it, but as of right now it is really not watchable. I'll settle for the Roku for now, but I hope they fix it soon.

Can you get regular Hulu without putting in CC info?

I know the PS3 does not(nor does the Roku) have a regular Hulu app. You may be able to watch regular Hulu on the PS3 though the built in web browser, but I've never tried. Regular Hulu shouldn't require any CC info.

you used to be able to go to hulu through the browser, but since it doesn't support flash, it won't play anything.
