Will Smith. Somebodys gonna pick him up for sure. RB's are dropping like flies around the league.

I wonder why we didn't put him on the practice or IR squads? Does he have to clear waivers first?

You have to clear waivers prior to being signed to the PS.

If you IR him, then he can't play a down for you this season. He also can't PRACTICE with you this season.

Would have rather temporarily cut a full back while we wait for Hartley to heal.

He'll get picked up for sure. I think the dude will actually turn out to be a decent player in this league.

I guess:

1) Chris Ivory is looking good to come back when he's off the PUP

and

2) They love having 2 FBs.

So when Kasay starts to fade down the stretch we'll have who, exactly?

Funny.
Seattle...no running backs and 2 games later too many good ones.

To the F.O..

I'm not a fan of this move. I really wanted to keep him. This could bite us in the arse. Why didn't they cut de la Pentras false starting arse?

+1

Bell looked like a quality backup in the preseason.

He's been inactive for both games this season, and assuming he clears waivers, he'll be on the PS tomorrow.

Yep, assuming Ivory comes back healthy Bell was essentially 4th string.

2010

You act as if 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 didn't happen.

Our RB injuries in 2010 were an aberration, and you don't make major decisions based on aberrations.

Because he would still be in Carolina if he could hold up for an entire season.

He's like 43 years old.

Ivory's very good but he's never gonna be healthy.

After what we went through last year you'd think they wouldnt be sending good backs packing.
