Fact or Crap: The SEC will have 13 teams in 2012-2013

For me: Fact
I think that the SEC will have 13 teams. Its a strange number and will not help scheduling, but Texas A&M was a good fit for both parties, so it will work.
The SEC will be content to stay at 13 until they find the right fit. The right fit is based on Economic, Geographic, Cultural and Academic sensibility. I do believe that it is in that order. Texas A&M fits on all four fronts, so it was a no-brainer to accept them.

It will be 14 unless the Big 12 finds a way to hold together. Big 10 is too hard headed to make a move...took them forever to finally add a 12th team, so if the 12 falls Mizzu will move to the SEC and make it 14.

16 teams is a bad idea. It would be almost impossible to schedule a big time non-conference game.
