One freshmen I was really looking forward to seeing this year was Terrance Magee and from what I heard during fall camp is that he would get a lot of playing time. I'm more than happy with what Ware/Ford have done so far this season but just curious as to why he isn't getting any PT when Miles said he expected him to play a lot?

Just wondering, and I am still a little bit suprised not seeing many frosh on special teams either.. Usually we find places for young guys to make plays on punt, kickoff etc.. You think Miles wants to Redshirt most of this years freshmen class that was so highly ranked for extra years? And when do we find out the offical list of players that will be redshirted?

Thanks

Why would you want him to waste a year? We are already a very young team.

This is stupid.

I'm not saying he redshirts every freshmen on the team! Obviously The Freak, Landry and OBJ won't redshirt but I'm talking about the other 20+ freshmen

they kept talking so high on Magee (sp?) and all i could think of is how are they gonna get him in the backfield with the Depth we have at that position? I think the kid is going to be a stud but hard to get snaps over ford and ware. I guess the coaches realized its hard to take snaps away from them too.

We had so many badass athletes from the last two years that it would become a waste for him to play this year with Ware/Ford/Blue all healthy. It'll be better for him to have an extra full year anyway. Him and Hilliard are going to be a great tandem at that position in a couple years. He's being doing great from all reports, but Ware and Ford would be hard to beat out right now. Still a chance he could play as the season goes on.

I thought the same thing. Played against him in high school and figured he would find a way to play this season on special teams.

Our special teams are really good, Id rather have these guys around another year then have them on kickoff coverage this year

Good point! LSU is going to be stacked with talent for many years to come.
