For the first time this year, one of ESPN's two analyst picked LSU over Bama to face Oklahoma in the National Championship. Schlabach chose LSU in the NC and Brad Edwards chose Bama in the NC and LSU in the Sugar vs. Boise. Either way,

If everything goes as scheduled, the NC game will be played on November 5th in Tuscaloosa.

This could be first year where Bama LSU could be a re match for NC game. If it is a great close game in November and Oklahoma falters, it could be a real scenario.

Screw a re-match. Whichever team loses head-to-head is done. End of story. This ain't baseball or hoops, where you get to play a few times a year. You get one shot at a team. Better make the most of it.

1 loss we play Boise in new Orleans in a great game. Beating bama will be extremely difficult unless our offense really gets going

People say this without realizing that Bama's offense is worse than ours and our Defense may be better than Bama's.

Early O/U on the Bama game is 3.5

So either way, it's finally lining up for Boise to play a true powerhouse. I honestly don't care if it's Bama or LSU playing them, I just want to see them get steam rolled by a real team. I'm sick of hearing about Boise until they play a real schedule. They are a joke until they prove themselves and beating a 6 win SEC team doesn't prove shite.

I do. I want it to be Bama playing them, while we play for the NC.

Wait, so we aren't the 'flop' team of the year?

I suppose I said that wrong. Odds are, if chokelahoma loses a game Boise could get bumped in.
I honestly believe that OU will lose a game, FSU proved that they are beatable.
There's the potential for it to be LSU and Boise in the NC, or Bama and Boise in the Sugar Bowl. Either way, I don't care just a long as Boise gets blasted.

it would never happen because people already whine about the SEC winning 5 in a row, theres no way they'd put up with us being guaranteed a 6th, but it would be funny if, say we lost in tuscaloosa by 1, then beat them in the NCG in new orleans. the series would be 1-1, with each team essentially holding serve, but we'd be NC.

god they would bitch until the end of time.

I just find it hard to believe that OU wont drop a game somewhere along the line. Everyone talks about how tough our schedule is, but have you seen their schedule? It's pretty damn tough too.
