I hope this is not Germans.

First of all, I have been extemely impressed with the play of OBJ. He runs good routes and, most importantly, he catches the ball!!

It was kind of my impression, and please correct me if I am wrong, that OBJ was playing in Shep's position.

I hope the offensive scheme for LSU allows both of them to be on the field at the same time.

I am excited about Shep being able to play. On the other hand, I worry about losing OBJ's production. The kid gets open and catches everything that's thrown to him. He secures the catch before he starts to run with the ball! The fact is that Shep has dropped a lot of passes, and I believe a lot of them were due to wanting to run with it before he secured the catch.

I hope Shep makes some great plays against WVU. I also would like to see OBJ bust a long one or two.

LSU looks great at receiver with RR, Shep and OBJ at receiver!

RS will come in and go what he's always done. We'll fake the end around five times a game and every other game we'll actually give it to him. He'll probably finish the year with 10 catches.

Yes and no.

Shep will run the ball more than OBJ. They are the same "type" of receiver. However, neither Boone nor Wright have stepped up as the #3 in 3 games. So there is room for Shep. Shep will add to the running game and the passing game.

RR and Shep on the outside, OBJ in the slot.

BTW, I cannot say this enough: OBJ has been fantastic this year. He's going to be something special.

In my opinion, Shep is a very good blocker. I haven't studied OBJ enough to know about his blocking skills. Certainly, I believe that Shep is stronger.

After game 1, both have looked good.

I like this! I don't wantr to take anything away from Boone and Wright, but this looks real dangerous!

I'm hoping they move RS to the slot w/ RR & OBJ at wideouts. Although OBJ has better hands, I think we need RS's big play ability.

OBJ has great hands. The kid has what it takes to be a super star, seriously. In 3 games he's already made himself an asset to the team and he will only get better. Keep your eyes on OBJ, the next few years are going to be exciting with him on the team.

I also like the idea of RR and RS on the outsides and OBJ in the slot. How does a D cover 3 guys like that, especially with the power run that's been established?

I have to agree with this. It looks good to me.

He very will could go over on the catches. But with at most 11 games left, and the depth we have at receiver, I just don't him getting more than one or two a game.

My only question is does Shep know the other WR positions b/c ODB has earned his spot on the field.

Beckham and Shep have and both will play outside or in the slot. we've got some good versatility with our WRs.

Shep's been playing both slot and on the outside the last few yrs (vast majority slot though), and concentrated more on the X in the spring and fall. he should be good to go.

OBJ is going nowhere.

My opinion is that Shep's presence will have zero effect on OBJ. He's earned his keep.
