I'm hoping Mississippi State/Georgia takes that slot.

That game seems like the kind of game Jefferson Pilot likes.

Kentucky/LSU is a nice night ESPN2/U game.

This has been discussed before...

LSU vs. UK CANNOT, I repeat CANNOT be at night due to the SEC contract with CBS specifically relating to the annual CBS double header which is that same day. CBS has exclusive SEC broadcasting rights from 2:30pm until the end of the 2nd game of the double header. This means that no other SEC conference game can be on TV during either game of the double header. If CBS does not pick up LSU/UK for it's 2:30 game, then it has to kick off at 11:30.

But as SportsNOLA first reported in July, the third-ranked Tigers and Wildcats are almost certainly headed for a pre-noon kickoff

Meh, it doesn't like a done deal. Sounds like speculation to me. Not saying that that is not the most likely scenario, though.

LSU/Kentucky will probably be a morning game now that Kentucky lost to fricking Louisville.

Games don't have to be on TV.

There aren't four 12 PM ET SEC TV slots.

Yeah, I see that. But the actual article that he linked was just written. It mentions the just-announced gametime for the WVU game.

I'm all for this! The SEC TV revenue is split evenly anyway

There definitely is. Between FSN, CSS, ESPNU, ESPN, ESPN2, and the SEC Network, there are definitely enough networks to handle the four pre-11:30 SEC games.

It happened last year during the Tennessee-LSU/Alabama-Florida CBS dobuleheader. There were a few early SEC games that morning/afternoon.
