Possibly. The parking money is not going toward traffic control that is for sure. fricking ridiculous. I've been to a lot of games at a lot of stadiums and never seen anything like this from a half empty stadium at that.

the cops only make things worse post game

The more traffic control they install, the worse things get.
Right now, when you get close to campus, road blocks redirect you away from campus... exactly the opposite of what traffic control is supposed to do. That's got to be the stupidest fricking plan I've ever seen implemented. When it was a free-for-all, it was better.
Not to mention there being no announcement in my brochure about the Game Day Parking entrances closing at 3 p.m., not even allowing me to pay the $40 I'd planned on paying, resulting in a huge number of empty spaces inside the campus and a lot less tailgating... particularly aggravating to see the lot I used to always park in sitting there half empty.
What a bunch of fail by the planners here.

It will never be figured out. Its a college campus for Pete's sake. There are more automobiles, more bigger automobiles, bigger population densities in and around campus, etc. The only way to reduce traffic congestion after games is to get more and more people to realize to increase carpooling and take the shuttles to games.

It was a freaking joke.
We left the stadium area right when the game ended. Considering 75% of the stadium was empty by that point, it sucked BAD. I hate to think about leaving at the end of a game where everyone actually stays to the end.

it's amazing how dallas can figure it out so well that there is no traffic anywhere around the stadium, yet lsu still has the issues it does.
sorority rowe is awful. they could that whole problem by having a fricking cop at the corner of dalrymple and the rowe...by the international center. nobody coming down dalrymple will let anyone into traffic.
