Just heard that it is a hand injury, not shoulder. No link. From the sounds of it, it doesn't sound good. Not saying this is a sure thing, so if it turns out not to be true, then so be it.

Maybe so. The person that told me thought it was a shoulder injury too and when he question his source they said hand. Either way, it looks like he is on the shelf for a while.
