Football rumor mill is reporting a deal has been reached to allow A&M to go to the SEC. I guess we will see.

Here's the LINK.
There are some things in this that could still be sticking points:

According to Ethridge, although it is unlikely that a waiver will ever be signed by all remaining members of the Big 12, the institutions are willing to be party to a gentlemen’s agreement so long as the SEC does not attempt to or agree to poach another school from the Big 12.
The lone remaining obstacle for Texas A&M will be if the SEC demands a written waiver by each Big 12 institution. If the SEC isn't content with just a verbal, gentlemen's agreement they still have the right to deny the Aggies entrance to the conference.

We shall see, this thing is like a soap opera, who knows what turns are in store for the Big 12 as a whole & the individual institutions involved (A&M, Baylor)

But, curiously, nothing to stop any of the remaining Big-12 schools from leaving, then applying as independents to the SEC.
You'd have to think the SEC would be an attractive option for the rats in Norman, Stillwater and Columbia trying to get off a sinking ship.

No false . Denied by OU and Tech. Rumored to be another propaganda lie started by Ken Starr. This "deal" required OU to give unconditional allegiance to the Texas Titanic conference, thereby allowing Baylor et al to sign waiver to release A&M. This was conditional on a "gentlemens agreement" with SEC that there would be no further pursuit of Big 12-x or Texas Titanic conference. See statements by OU sarcastically denying this. Utter lies, propaganda by Bailure. Unprecedented journalistic fraud with this drama....

I don't get the attraction of schools like OU and OSU have with the Pac 12. They have nothing in common geographically or even culturally.
