you guys are a very formidable team, the better team, and played a great game. Very disappointed in how that third quarter went, especially because both of those fumbles by the true freshman came on solid runs. "Woulda coulda shoulda" doesn't matter tho, it's all about the end result.

I was at the BCS championship game last year and nothing can hurt as bad as that...this shouldn't be too hard to get over especially if we can win the PAC-12 and the Rose Bowl. But my two teams are the Portland Trail Blazers (yes, my dad took me to that heartbreaking Game 7 of the 2000 Western Conference Finals against LA) and the Oregon Ducks, and I'm still waiting to experience that first championship as a sports fan.

more thoughts...Spencer Ware and Michael* Ford tore our young defense up. Seemed like they fell 5 feet forward nearly every time they were tackled, unbelievable.

I had fun with some of the older LSU fans who were very hospitable, had some great food. There were definitely a bunch of LSU fans who were complete idiots. To some level this is understandable, when you lose a big game like this, you're going to get clowned on. Inevitable. But one of your fans threw a beverage at the Duck fan next to me, missed, and hit his 10 year old daughter in the face, and proceeded to laugh. Bad apples in every bunch, but I've never seen anything like that before.

Anyway congrats, and good luck with your title hopes. Sure seems like you guys are destined to win it at all at home again. I'm out.

Not his name. But the rest is a good post. Good job owning up to the loss and not using excuses.

Hope you stick around

Did no one kick that guy's arse? That makes me mad. Sorry that had to happen.

I hope all of our Ducky visitors over the last few months don't become strangers.

I didn't see 2003 coming at all. And since then LSU has won one more and the SAINTS too.

Sorry for partying

Honestly, it was a bad idea to sell beer at the game. I knew some bad shite was going to happen when I heard they would be serving.

I call bullshite, because every LSU fan around would have kicked his arse before a duck could have done it...IMHO.

My bad, "Chris Ford" was in my bio lab last year...spacey today. fixed it.

I'm not really a big forum junkie but I might step in time to time tho to see what's up with, especially if there is SEC expansion talk. I'm hoping this PAC-16 deal happens. Would be great for the strength and the development of teams in our conference.

This is the best sports forum i've been to. Kills the o-live format, but I don't think o-live is our primary forum. It's comparable to nola.com I think.

haha security was standing right next to us and promptly threw him and his family out before fans reacted. shite would have definitely gone down otherwise like it was a Raiders-Niners game.
