I'm staying in San Antonio tomorrow night near the River Walk and need a restaurant rec. Never been before, but would prefer some tex-mex and a good margarita. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

If you wouldn't have called out Tex Mex specifically, I would have said the Little Rhine Steakhouse. Really good.

I know this sucks, but right behind the Hilton there is a spot. It is next to this place that gives all their patrons bajas. Anyway, if you find it, get the burrito al carbon. Its awesome.

Actually went with Boudro's, and very glad I did. Had the guac prepared tableside, a few of their special margaritas (that had an ancho chili/salt rim... Incredible) and a dish called, "Big Tails, Little Tails," which consisted of lobster, jumbo shrimp, and crawfish in a rich Cajun sauce over a bed of avocado risotto. Great weather, great table on the river, great food, and a great experience. Thanks again!
