One team defeated the # 19 team last night and will play Tulsa, Toledo, UNLV, SDSU, Wyoming and New Mexico while the other defeated the # 3 team last night (while ending the Heisman hopes for a certain running back) and will play teams (each nationally ranked) such as Mississippi State, WVU, Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, and Alabama. Now guess which team ESPN will talk the most about this year.

Let the media talk. If we take care of business, we'll be in the title game. If we don't, we won't.

Sure wish Boise would have played one of the upper echelon SEC teams this year to knock them out of the talk early. Oh well, we will have to hear it all season unless they lose.

Who cares? Why do you have to get gratification from ESPN?

There is nothing to worry about with Boise. IF they go undefeated this year, a 1-loss SEC team is probably still gonna jump them.

I love how they're making the Boise game like it's Boise vs the SEC.

A 1 loss SEC team is far better than any other undefeated team!

It doesn't matter.

We win the SEC with 1 loss and we are going to the BCSCG

end of the story

Boise St has a legit chance to go all the way.. and I gotta say, I think they've earned it by now.

LSU vs Boise St would be phenomenal. Whether it's a bowl game or the BCS game..

Texas. Because they have to hype the Longhorn Network (viewed by dozens and dozens along the Texas Gulf Coast). Or lose $300M if they don't.

Honestly? How have they earned it? Playing 1 SEC team? If they played the SEC week in and week out they would be a 4 loss team.

bmy- that statement is why I wish we had a playoff. Boise St. beats one team in a season and the road is paved to the BCS. Let them play a whole season of tough games and I will think they earned it!

boise, byu, tcu, etc from non bcs conferences are almost a politically correct favorite to play for the nc. the media, for whatever reason, seems intent on championing their "cause". all boise has to do is play one name team and boom, they are in according to the media sages. i think the fact there is no playoff and the media desparatelly wants one is the main reason for this.

Cumulatively. They've taken on all takers and have put in their time to be considered legit at this point.

Their SOS will take care of them. They have little to no chance of going to the dance.

I'll give them that they aren't scared to play teams, a la Fresno State in the 90s. However, one game does not a season make. Would love for them to play in a real conference.

You are telling me they deserve it over a 1 loss SEC team just because they play one good team a year and win? The SEC hasnt won the last 5 NC by luck. If boise got in over a 1 loss SEC team its crap. Or if they wanna put tem in a NC game with the SEC fine we will kick the shite out of them to.

No. But if they win out, they deserve to be in the conversation by now.
