First time playing with flex rb/wr

Ok, here's what I got. RB- McCoy, Mendy, Reggie, Hightower. WR- DeSean, Bowe, Santonio, Mike Thomas. We get pt/10yds rush/rec/ret. Start 2 rb, 2 wr and a flex wr/rb. I am thinking about dropping Thomas and adding someone like Jacoby Ford or Eric Weems, both great returners. However, any td's scored onreturns points for defense. I'm hesitant for two reasons. One, the new kickoff rule. Two, I don't think I would ever play one of these two guys as my flex as I have better options with my reserves. Would any of you guys make this move?

Reggie should get you punt return yards

I don't play flex, but I would always want a No. 1 RB at flex over a WR. WRs can be shut out. RBs less likely.

Hightower is your flex. I'd say by a decent margin too.
