Zachary's is awesome. I'm a meat eater, but their signature spinach and mushroom pizza can't be beat. I'd skip going into the city to eat, hop on BART and head to Rockridge. You can hit half a dozen really good restaurants that are walking distance from the BART station. Oliveto, Soi 4, Zacharys, etc, all are very good, and there are more.
