Have to be there for my sisters wedding that whole week and I figure there has to be at least one former tiger that opened his own place there

Kauai is the kind of place that will make you forget about football! Don't miss the Napali coast...take one of the catamaran tourboats.

I just got back from that island recently. I don't know if it will make you forget about LSU football, but you definitely won't care that you're missing the game! It's a really nice and laid back place. Enjoy the island with your s/o and watch the replay on CST when you're back to reality!

"Kauai is the kind of place that will make you forget about football! Don't miss the Napali coast...take one of the catamaran tourboats."

I love Kauai, but it didn't make me forget football. Couldn't agree more on Napali, though. I have done it by kayak and power boat, and I have also heard the cats are great (my 8 year old was too young to do the kayak trip and we let her pick between the cat and the power boat). Napali Coast has to be one of the prettiest places on earth.

As for bars, well, Kauai is not that big of a nightspot, but I suspect that you and your friends could more or less "take over" pretty much any bar at what would be about 1:00 (?) Saturday afternoon.

Drive the main highway on the east coast ALL the way up to Ke'e beach. Beautiful snorkeling (bring frozen peas to feed the fish). Go early enough and hike from there around the north tip of the Napali Coast to a great waterfall (not for little kids). You won't be sorry.
