sooner than most now think...although I wish JL all the best, I just don't see him holding up over the course of a SEC season. The past offers insight for the future....

If JJ doesn't kick the suspended status this year, I think he will become a starter at some point this year.
I find it ridiculous that people ignore his upside for the team line of "he hasn't played against an SEC defense" thing. By years end, he will have experience and expect him to be pushing for the starting job, if not there already.
He has by far the best upside of the three.

Just the facts, maam, just the facts! I know the rantard residents will have a problem with this post. But I have found that in life the sooner you accept the situation, the soon it starts getting better....it's time to move onward and upward towards the big prize...and I believe that Mett has that kind of ability...the only real question is, does he have the character of RP or MF? That's the real question yet to be answered...and only he has that answer....

Mett did not come to LSU to play backup to Lee. Lee may start the season, but it will end in bombs from Mett to Randle and others.

Yet, you've probably never seen him play, and have no idea what he looks like in practice. Yeah, he's got a great pedigree, but he's never taken an SEC snap.
Lee is the starter. Why don't you get behind him, and support your QB vs. just starting crap. Mett will get his shot, and if you're hoping for a good season for your Tigers, you really want Lee to play lights out.
