Pretty much same style as maulk,Flynn...the only thing i don't think is there is his leadership. But hopefully he comes out and plays a bigger role and doesn't look back. I hope te best for this kid. His last chance!

Not even close. Maulk and Flynn were pretty mobile.

Lee = pick six TDs for the opposing defense. At least make a tackle if you throw a pick. Now that he lost 20 pounds, maybe he can chase down a defensive tackle. Only Mett can lead us to a national championship. We haven't seen a qb with an arm like his since Bert Jones. LSU fans are ready to get wowed and it's overdue.

Prediction: meet will ve starter, same ol lee will be back. There is a reason he has not been the starter. With that being said, I hope lee proves me wrong. He will certainly get his chance now.

I was actually thinking the same thing. After Russell left, nobody thought that Matt Flynn would lead us to a championship.

It is nice to see in this thread that so many of our "loyal" fans support the starting QB for one of the bigger games of the season. We have probably the best fanbase in the world.

Not so much like Mauck or Flynn, but according to his teammates he is a leader.

LINK

Wide receiver Russell Shepard said both are great quarterbacks but have different personalities.

Shepard said Jefferson stays calm even in critical situations, and added that Lee constantly talks, tell the players "good job" if they did something well or gets on them when they drop a pass.

"He likes to pep you up," Shepard said. "Lee is someone that is going to constantly pep you up and be a general on the field."

Are you kidding? Flynn is one of the better backup QB's in the league. Maulk was on an NFL roster for 2 or 3 years.

Lee will not even be drafted and will never play a down in the NFL. In any game this year where Lee gets any pressure (in other words in most, if not all, SEC games) he'll put it up for grabs, just like he has in the past.

How the hell is he the same style as mauck and flynn?

Because he's white?

JJ was closer to mauck and flynn than lee.
