Our offensive line is already hurting

I personally know someone who has played for both Saban and Miles and he said Saban never made the players practice too hard so everyone would be fresh for gametime. He said Miles practices players too hard and they are not as fresh towards the end of the game as they normally could be.

Doesn't practicing hard make you MORE ready for the end of games.

I guess that plays into the reasoning why LSU does so amazingly well at the end of close games.

Imagine how many games LSU would win late in the 4th quarter if we were fresh!

I personally know someone who played for both who said the exact opposite.

I also like the OP's seeming suggestion that if there is some coaching approach that Miles and Saban do differently, that it MUST be Saban's approach that is the correct one.

Yeah that's how you get ready for the end of games. Don't practice hard. you should write a book on that coaching philosophy

I would question it except that S&C is totally Moffits agenda and not Les. Working out and preparing for football before, during, and after the seasons is truly a science. These athletes are so finely tuned that it is fairly easy to wreck their bodies as a result of strength & power mixed with balance can be tricky.

Honestly...for some folks, you can fill that in with anything because they can't stand the guy and have disliked him since the second half of the TENN game of 2005. For some, he can never get past not being Nick fricking Saban...
