Have a few lobsters to cook that a friend caught this past weekend? Any good recipes?

Caught? Where do you live? Maine or Caribbean?

Sneak em into your kosher friend's girlfriend's eggs who saw you naked after you came out the pool.

Take the meat(after boiling them long enough to insure a peaceful departure)), mix with some veggies(grape tomato, mushroom, red onion, geen onion, bell pepper all sauteed), and season, wrap in phyllo dough, then bake. Top it with a lemon/butter/white wine sauce.

ETA: The legs of spiny lobsters are edible, but a pain in the butt to get the meat from.

Get Emeril's Stuffed Lobster recipe from the Food Network site and use that. I enhance it with La style seasoning(it's written for Fall River Mass. palates), and I like to add some extra seafood///crab, sauteed shrimp(rough chopped). Your guests will eat the shells to get the last bite. Easy recipe to make ahead and bake to serve once your guests arrive.

Don't ruin this. Steam and serve with drawn butter. Keep it simple my man.

Caribbean lobsters a different beast. Cut in half lenghtwise and grill. Serve with a simple acidic sauce - a salsa, or pesto type creation will do trick. Baste on grill with lots of butter.

Check out Eric Ripert's recipe for Caribbean Lobster with Sauce Vierge

I wouldnt mess them up by adding them into something with a ton of ingredients. Caribbean lobsters are delicious. Way better than Maine lobster imo

What I posted is for Maine lobsters...nevermind. I'd split and grill what you have.

What I do is similar to what others have said. I split in two length ways and filet the meat out of the shell but put it back in.

Grill on med. heat basting several times meat side up until the outer portions of the shell begin to char. baste one more time and flip over meat side down for about a minute or two.

Enjoy.

If you split, then take note to take out the tomalley(the stuff in the head), if doing the splitting by hand wear thick rubber gloves while doing it, the spines will pierce your hand and it hurts and will give you some nasty stuff. If they are still alive enjoy the scream.
