Anyone know if NCAA has made a statement about when this is supposed to be resolved?
Haven't seen or read anything.

I think Coach Miles and RS have been very pc when it comes to the situation. I think everything is good, but they don't want to appear overconfident. That is leaving some room for doubt.

Didn't miles say that RS would not miss practice or a game??

What's left open from that? If RS wouldn't be practicing it would be reported and this place would explode.

No, RS said himself he didn't know if he will play in the opener or not. They're waiting on the compliance office to finish their investigation.

Not exactly an NCAA issue at the moment.

LSU compliance is investigating. They may decide it never has to be reported to the NCAA (determine no rules broken, etc)

IF they decide it is an issue, they can then suspend and ask NCAA to reinstate (like AU did with Cam).

At this moment, it is purely internal.

Not so fast my friend. Mascona reported Monday that it is in the hands of the NCAA as we speak. NCAA has said they have no time line on when an announcement/ruling will be made.

May be true. If so, then LSU compliance obviously found no reason to suspend.

I doubt it though. I think LSU compliance is still working on it.

Again, IF it has gone to NCAA and LSU has not suspended, then I think that bodes well.

They expect to make an announcement prior to Sept. 3rd.

In regards to his possible suspension, RS said From The Advocate:
quote:

Shepard said he’s been told “everything’s looking pretty good and it’s going to be a pretty good solution when it’s all said and done.

BTW: only in The Advocate does
quote:

Housing issue’ may sideline WR Shepard
