Not sure how many GOW fans on here but ever since the first one it has been my most anticipated title every year...I expect EPIC to deliver a game that is nearly ubtouchable in online play and has a solid and hefty campign mode...what does everyone think of the upcoming title?

Yeah i usually dont as well but there single player is usually pretty good...plus the got me intrigued with the whole story line with the first game

ETA: FIFA 12 comes out the next week, and Rage comes out the week after that. So gonna be a great time for new games in general.

I love online shooters, and ever since the first GoW, Gears has been my favorite, EXCEPT that it had so much lag. After playing the beta and confirming that it had no lag whatsoever, I cannot freaking wait for Gears 3.

Yeah i played the beta as well and was very impressed...i believe they went to dedicated servers which helps out a ton for the online play

You can buy for around $30 both GOW 1 and 2 plus the expansion pack over at target.
I bought it last month in preperation for GOW 3. I'm going to play it all the way through a week or so before GOW 3 comes out just so I feel like I'm watching a movie.
I am SOOO pumped up. I do not buy games but these I buy. I love this series. Sad to see it end.

I played the first GOW damn near every day for 2 years. Too bad the multiplayer sucked so bad on the second one. Judging from the beta the third should be better.

I don't care for the multiplayer, so I can't justify spending $60 for it. I'll wait a few months until they reduce the price

The 2nd one was way better online. They fixed a lot of issues, but unfortunately, the lag remained. It sounds like you had a case of playing the first one online so much, you were unwilling to adapt to the 2nd one, just like Halo 1 fans who hated Halo 2, or even Halo 2 fans that hated Halo 3.

yeah i played the shite out of the first one as well...the second one was pretty sweet as well tho...but im kinda pulling for carmine to not die in this one...have you seen the screen shots for him in GOW3...dude is jacked
