I've got three kids (Girls 10 and 7, Boy 4).

Was wanting to get them a new game for the Wii, something that was a good game (gameplay) for them and me to play.

They've really enjoyed the two Super Mario Galaxy games, and I've beaten both of those. I was hoping to step up to something like a Legend of Zelda game. But I honestly haven't played Zelda since Zelda II - Adventures of Link (NES).

My kids have seen all of the Harry Potter movies and all of the Lord of the Rings movies for a frame of reference.

Basically I'm wondering if I will feel uncomfortable letting them watch me play Twilight Princess (or for them to play it 'wink-wink').

If not Twilight Princess, what are some other games for the Wii that you could recommend for kids?

Thanks in advance.

It is kind of dark, but nothing seriously over the top. I'd say it is fine if they have seen the latest HP movies and LotR.

Twilight Princess is fine for kids IMO. Nothing bad in it I can think of except maybe the spirits roaming the dark world might scare them a little.

They'll be fine. Lord of the Rings is much worse as far as 'scary' moments

Other games that kids would love to watch you play would be Kirby's Epic Yarn and Donkey Kong Country Returns.

Its fine. I was playing Zelda when I was like 8. I certainly don't think it deserves a Teen rating. Nothing bloody or overthetop. They may find it difficult though.

There are much, much darker and fricked up things in these films than anything in the Zelda franchise.
