Nothing will get me to change the station quicker than some...

Stephen A. Smith

I can't even stand to hear his voice. Get in the car this AM, flipped to Mike and Mike, heard his whiny voice, and insta-flipped to something else.

He is not my favorite, however he did make some good points about the NBA labor situation. He commented that the NBA is not the NFL and that people would lose whatever interest they still have in the league if they are games missed next season. I agree 100%.

He still needs to cut his hair off

Surprisingly he wasn't sticking up for D Mcnabb when they were talking about him and being more criticized because he is black. I was surprised.

His needless use of big words gets old really fast. Why do you feel the need to convince us that you might be smart?

This is like an "ex player turned announcer" schtick. They hear something like "intestinal fortitude" and decide that they need to use it like 2 times during a show. I'm sure they don't really know what they are saying.

While he definitely gives off a militant vibe, if you actually listen to what he has to say he is really unbiased racially in his comments.

I like Stephen A. His comments on Stevie Williams was spot on and all he had to say is, "He is a CADDIE!!! Come on man we are talking about a guy who cares a bag of golf clubs and gives advice on what shot to hit!! It is not like he is his therapist or something"

Leave it to Peej to come off as a complete idiot once again.

If you knew anything outside of your trailer door, you would know he has publicly been critical of Obama.

REALLY. I have never said he hadn't said or cut down any african-american. I do know this, is that when Ben Rothlosberger went off on Tomlin that Sas was all over Big Ben, And with the VY deal with Fisher at TENN he basically said that VY hadn't done anything wrong and was all over Fisher.

i don't completely discount him at all ... i just wish he'd lose that militant edge and start talking .. he is an incredibly intellegent guy .. i enjoyed reading his NBA stuff online .. he is a very good writer too ... i have a lot of respect for his NBA opinions ... he just tends to overstep the bounds of what i want to hear him talk about from time to time ..
