reading this stuff about Jefferson is getting me all hot and bothered.

Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee worked this morning with the veterans. For the first time in four years, I can honestly say that Jordan looked better throwing the ball than Lee. He was accurate on run as well as in the pocket; he had more velocity; and he seems to have tightened up his delivery......

It does say that he was missing on 10 yard outs but I see no reason that can't be fixed.

-Randle is small, but has a ton of velocity on his passes. His throwing motion is extremely unorthodox, but in time they may work on that. He looks physically like Russell Shepard and may go that route and play another position eventually. In the meantime, it’s comforting to see five scholarship QBs on the field at once.

This is the part I didn't get from Matt. From what I saw at practice on Friday, Randall was NOT too small (He was a solid 6'1'' or 6'2'' but standing next to Stephen Rivers and Mett makes you look small) and he had arguably the best throwing motion out of all the QB's save for Jarrett Lee (I only give him an edge over Mett because Mett has a bad habit of dropping his elbow and sidearming some). Randall seemed to have a high release point, counterbalancing any alleged deficiency he has in terms of height.

Like I said before, he's already light years ahead of RShep in terms of passing and arm strength. The few drills I saw him perform in (before his arm I guess started getting sore so they let him rest it) they really used him a lot with zone option stuff.

Personally, I think the kid HAS to stay at QB. Miles said he's smart enough and has the leadership skills to do it. From what I saw Friday, he also has all the physical tools.

Outs are all about timing, which would be expected to be off in the first 3 days of practice

It's gonna be interesting if what this article is saying about Mathieu being the 1st team corner is true. I like Mathieu, but with the big wideouts in the SEC, he may just be simply too small to handle them.

Also, Tharold Simon BULKING UP at 6'3"???
