I can't seem to get my Quarterback to slide instead of dive! How on earth do you make him just slide!?! If I want to run it with my Quarterback, don't want him coughing it up!

Tap x as lightly as possible. And I mean light.

It is a bit awkward to slide when you are running straight ahead because you have to let go of the thumbstick and press X.

I'm glad I've learned this because I lost Mettenberger yesterday for 11 weeks because of this and have to play my whole season with RSF Jerrard Randle

Thus why PS3 is better, just keep running and hit square.

No idea what he's talking about unless he's holding the controller the most unorthodox way possible.

Or a different mapping. Assuming RS is action stick and LS is movement... Shouldn't have to take thumb of movement to tap x...

You don't have to take tour thumb off the joystick to slide.

I said that cause I honestly don't even know what an xbox controller looks like...

I said that because my natural instinct is to press forward and X which results in a dive (and a fumble more often than not).

I think he only slides if you're not past the line of scrimmage...could be making that up though.
