He was there. Can't recall exactly where he finished though.
I wasn't doubting him. I just wanted to see it because I can't remember where I finished.

Typical Bama.
I also finished #3 and #5 in March and April. But the Birmingham News Poll had me at #1 for those months, so I'm going to say it counts.

Got sixth here. Anyone (aka those in 1st and 2nd) want to help the noobs out and give us some elite level pointers?
ETA: Can't wait til next year's fantasy. Had a lot of fun (and frustration) playing this year. I just hope I have time with med school starting and everything.

First, contratulations to The Pitch Witches! I took the lead for two or three weeks, but he had a hell of a run after that. Kudos.

I'm Blackstool. I don't really have any surefire tips for you. You need to be able to look at form, value, and what teams/where everyone is playing the next several weeks. Don't just pay attention to the points on the field, but the rise/fall of your players' value. That can help you out down the stretch. Other things that can come into play are tourneys (Champions, Carling, etc...). Don't forget about luck.

I had fun with fantasy this season. It was my first fantasy team in any sport, but I managed to pull out 3rd, due primarily to luck I'm sure. If I hadn't captained Torres for the first 5 games of the season, I might have done a little better. Congradulations to Pitch Witches, you were unreal.

You'll have time...I'm in my first year of med school now, and it's not as bad as everyone says. You'll still have free time in one of two ways, depending on your style.
1. You stay caught up by studying every day and never falling behind so that you usually don't have too much to do in a single day.
2. Procrastinate so that you have plenty of free time at the beginning of a testing period and almost no free time in the week leading up to the exam.

The first way is better, but I'm incapable of that so I use the second method. Either way, you'll still find time to do what you want.

Yeah... I'm really starting to panic about having time to play soccer... watch soccer... uh, and other extracurriculars.

ETA: My biggest worry is being disciplined enough to do #1 instead of #2 (what I did all throughout college, except week was more like day or two depending on the subject. I know this won't fly in med school).

That's what I did in undergrad and what I do now. The only difference is that the amount of studying is way more per test so "last minute" is now about 7-10 days before the test instead of 1-2 days before. Maybe you'll have better luck than me, but I just can't study until the fear of failing a test motivates me. Anyway though, you'll have some time to do what you want; you'll just have to be more selective about what you spend the free time on...soccer, your wife/girlfriend, family stuff, etc. will all be competing for your time so a lot of times you'll have to choose one over the others.
