We'll have to wait and see if this works.....I hope they kill off Sheen's character.

Ashton Kutcher's character on "Two and a Half Men" will be a broken-hearted Internet billionaire, CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said Wednesday. Tassler said his character, Walden Schmidt, will be introduced over a two-part episode airing over two weeks. She declined to confirm or deny reports that Charlie Sheen's character will be killed off.

This whole thing is bizarre to me. Charlie Sheen was the show, you can't just replace him and call it "Two and a Half Men." This is like Seinfeld losing Jerry Seinfeld and then trying to replace him with Pauly Shore.

I agree. People aren't watching it to see the next funny thing Jon Cryer does.

My guess is that the show will go on and continue to be successful. How could it be much worse than it was with Charlie Sheen?

So you don't think there is any potential humor in a show featuring a

Drunk Womanizer
Emasculated Loser
Stupid Kid
Hateful Mother
Sassy Housekeeper
Hot Babe of the Week

I'll admit the show is repetitive and not worth watching long term, but I catch the syndicated reruns every now and then and it's not as terrible as most here make it out to be. I think most of the hate comes from the inexplicable fact that it's been the #1 rated comedy so often. It certainly isn't worthy of that rating.

False. The kid is not funny and is a terrible actor. The supporting actor is not funny. Charlie Sheen can be funny sometimes (See Hot Shots I & 2) but not in this show.

People are just to serious all the time. I don't watch it looking for enlightenment.

It's a show where you don't have to think and can just catch a laugh here and there like "Married with Children" used to be. Yes it gets a bit old after awhile but like the other poster said, its good for a re-run here and there on syndication.

The show may actually be better

I dont find Charlie Sheen playing himself to be all that funny, the show is pretty terrible
