Not to mention any ice chest that is opened often for food/drinks or throwing fish into isn't going to keep ice very long.

Yes sir. Right next to his Mercury sticker and "Salt Life" sticker. He doesn't own a boat.

they are making knock of models of the yeti now. mom's boyfriend just got a K2 ice chest and loves it. i will verify that it keeps ice in it for a very long time and they are cheaper.

He's currently 3 months behind on his truck note but he's damn proud of that Yeti.

So a Yeti is like chrome rims for the white man?

They're definitely worth it on a boat where it can double as a seat and casting platform.

This is somewhat off topic, but I filled 3 coolers with ice and beer for a boil. The kind of stuff you can get at any big box store from Rubbermaid or Coleman. All had same exact contents.

Over night, two of the three has possibly 2 ice cubes left. The third was the kind with the double top and entended pull handle. It may have had 1" of water in the bottom. The ice looked brand new.

So, even among the bargains out there, the quality varies a lot.

No it was the former president and a former member, I can't remember if it was both or one or the other. I found it hilarious though.
