Just got back into Borderlands, and loving it so much more. Curious as to the direction they go with the sequel.

Is Borderlands more like Fallout or Bioshock? I never played it before but everyone I know loves it.

I guess it is more like Bioshock but that is a terrible comparison group. It's an FPS that revolves around collecting and upgrading guns that you find.

it's almost like FPS meets Diablo.
A lot of the guns you find are fairly worthless, but there are some very interesting ones out there to be found. Each character has their own skill sets and depending on your focus, you can have a unique experience from two playthroughs with the same character.
I wish I still had it, it was a good way to screw around for a few hours at a time.

Such an awesome game that got even more fun when you played co-op

I'd say that it's an average game which is only enjoyable in co-op. Maybe they'll give the sequel a decent plot.

The ending was such a disappointment. I was expecting loot....and I got tentacles....
