I know that I will be in the minority but I believe that JJ will have an excellent season. Just a gut feeling!

Our defense will shine because the offense will provide plenty of rest. Our new OC probably wants to redeem himself after the results at LV; therefore I think the offense will sustain drives, and control the ball.

I've never been a fan of Miles, however I'm tired of focusing on the negative. Its been my choice and it's my choice to look for the positive. I intend to enjoy this season. I believe Miles has something to prove and will complete this season ending the comparison to Saban and known or referenced as 2-loss Les.

I understand the we could have easily been 6-6 last year as we were 11-2. The fact is we didn't end up 6-6. We finished 11-2 with the 112th & 11th ranked passing offense. Our QB threw more TDs in the CB than he threw in the previous12 games combined. Don't forget we had the lead on the eventual NC with 7-minutes left in the game. Any decent output/help from the offense, and the outcome might have been different.

All I here from the bummers is the SECC runs through Tuscalooser. I have news for the most delusional fan base in the south and tied with Iowa for the nations most delusional fan base. To win the SECC you must run through the Tigers on the Bayou!

Special season boys. If we take the option to the short side of the field out of the playbook, I'm going to be happy anyway.

Um, so where's the concern?

I rambled and failed to include my concern. Its the kicking & return game. Personally I've been spoiled with our KG. I was a bit disappointed in the let down in the CB.

Did you actually list a concern in there or did I miss it?

We won't have PP returning kicks so there will be a fall off there, but not much. We have plenty of super athletes capable of doing that job well.

Consistent FG kicking is a question mark though.

The kicking game probably won't be as good as last year, but it shouldn't be total crap either. Not too worried about it. I don't really see our return game slipping that much either. I'm far more concerned with our run D turning to crap w/o KS and Nevis in the middle.

I agree we have the talent in the return game. When the spot light is on you and you are young, it can go bad quick and like each of you don't want to provide gifts on our side of the 50. With all the FGs coupled with the punts dropped inside the 20, that potentially is a big loss.

With a solid D, and reliable KG that can change field position, you can win a lot of games.

I do like Les and have had my ups and downs with it but I concluded that he is the coach and I support all things LSU, coach's included. I'm with you on the two loss thing though. Hopefully we can snap that consistency this year on a positive note. I do agree with the worry of special teams because Joe Rob was a stud but I think in the end we wont have an extreme difference.

Well if we can score more touchdowns, then we won't have to worry about a dropoff in field goals. And I also like Les Miles, and hope we have the type of season that will shut a lot of people up!

who is our new ST coach? robinson was great and probably one of the best we have ever had. Is the new guy as good.

And is our kicker going to be decent? i know miles places alot of emphasis on kickers, so i am confident that we have a good one. I also here he can kick further then david or jasper.

My biggest concern is jefferson under center. After watching the replay of the Florida game, Miles should give Lee a chance to start. If it wasn't for Lee we would not have won that game.

If the offense does sustain and finish drives the kicking/return game won't be depended upon as much.
