Are the ads on this site targeted?

Are they targeted to where, like google, they (who's they? I don't know) read your posts to find your interests?

I think they are. Most of the ads I see are for guns.

I'd say less than 1% of the board has an ipad, yet I've got the top ad trying to sell me ipad textbooks and the left ad trying to sell me an ipad keyboard. Was just curious.

I'm pretty sure the ads use keywords from posts to decide what to display.

You can download a local cookie from google that stops using your browing history for what ads get displayed by adsense:
