It's pretty killer online, or so I've been told.

AA with 7 min. quarters is the tits.

Don't have the game yet because I'm in NY and my X-Box is not with me but when I get it I'm sticking to Heisman no matter how bad I get beat at first
it's just how I learn how to play video games

That's exactly what I do. My friend wants to put our Online Dynasty on AA, but I feel like after you've played Heisman for so long everything else is too easy

Plus I think Heisman on this game is about as realistic as it gets. I'm the DC of Cal and we are currently 5-3, I wasn't expecting us to go undefeated.

I always play on AA because Heisman just feels impossible at times, especially playing in the SEC. I feel like AA is much more realistic. Still challenging and you'll get beat if you don't take it seriously, but it's not impossible to gain a yard running the ball or an interception every time you throw it.

This is where I feel it's most realistic (well based on 11 anyways, haven't played in the SEC on 12). I had a dynasty where I was at UGA. First year 14-0 National Champs, 2nd year 11-2, 3rd year 12-2.

What sliders are you playing?

I'm using a guy off OS...don't remember the name but half of his post was emoticons. Gameplay wise they're a LITTLE easy but I like them. The only problem is quarter length. You get way too much play in with 6-7 minutes. Anything less though and it feels like the game is over too fast.

would playing on heisman, and 15 minute quarters be too long?

There would be 15 turnovers a game, at least.

General consensus is USUALLY 6-8 minutes for a "realistic" amount of plays.

I don't understand all the crying I have been seeing over this. I have always played on heisman each year and yes this year is harder but I am glad. I would take a small Louisiana team like ULL or ULM and win the Sugar Bowl by the 2nd year of a dynasty in the past. At least this year its a little more realistic as I am the OC at ULM trying to work my way to hopefully HC at LSU. I went 9-4 my 1st year with losses to @FSU(in OT), @TCU(nailbiter), @Iowa(blown out by eventual NC), and vsECU(in New Orleans Bowl). I went 12-1 the 2nd season with my only loss being vs Miss St in 3OT with my starting QB(highest rated player) getting hurt. After turning down a number of offers in the offseason, I am back with the same core of the offense that I started with as sophomores for their senior year looking to cash in on a good gig. So far 2-0 with a win against @ #19 Baylor.

Point of the story its not that hard. Take the time to learn how to play against it.

my question, when you're a coordinator, do you only control that side of the ball. do you only call plays, or do you call plays and control players?

You are only in charge of that side of the ball but call and control plays. You also do ALL the recruiting

Ok now I have a question... What would you do: Stay as the Coordinator at a mid-level BCS school or take the contract as a HC at a crappy non-AQ school?

I turned down a lot of job offers b/c the goals for OCs at bigger schools look a lot harder to obtain if not impossible when only playing 5 minute quarters, and that is w/o considering facing better defenses. I don't know if the CPU will compensate your goals for you playing 5 min quarters, so I am looking to go straight to HC somewhere b/c HC goals are a lot easier in my opinion. I got offered to WF HC job and thought about but eventually declined b/c unless its a big school I want try and be around fertile southern recruiting grounds (FL,TX,CA,etc.)

Well I'm a DC so I don't have to worry about trying to make a lot of yardage against defenses. Turned down the Tulane HC job to remain at Cal as the DC. Also turned down the Vandy HC job. Think I might stick around at Cal one more season.
