Roy Halladay vs Rodrigo Lopez. Just what the doctor ordered to turn the season around for the Cubbies...

I hope CM Punk throws out the first pitch.

For some reason, Halladay sucks against the Cubs. The Cubs just suck against everyone else.

Halladay got tired and winded. I don't see how lack of conditioning constitutes being taken out of a game in the middle of a batter. If I was the cubs manager I would have been out arguing that he should at least finish the batter.

The Phillies can take him out whenever they want. It doesn't matter if he finishes a batter or not. They could have taken him out in the first after throwing one pitch if they really wanted to.

Yeah, but if it's ruled an injury then a reliever has as much time as they need to warm up... if it's just manager's decision they only get a certain number of pitches.

My point was that the Cubs can't argue that Halladay finish a batter.

Thanks for the update on the rules. I've been watching baseball for 15 years and still don't know all the rules. I suck.
