Palmer says if he was a betting man he would put his money on LSU to make the National Title.

I never thought I'd say this:

Thank you Jesse Palmer, you just made my day.

I actually have more respect for Jesse Palmer than I do for Herbstreit...At lease Jesse is able to put his homerism aside and look at things objectively. Herbie makes no effort to hide his Buckeye pride...he'll parade his kids on set with buckeye jerseys and stuff. People like that have no business doing analysis.

When Corso leaves Gameday J Palmer needs to take his place. Gameday needs an "SEC guy" to go against the 2 Big Ten guys.

Corso is nothing more than a fricking show clown. That dude brings nothing to the show.

Unless you consider forgetting every other sentence while shaking a pencil at the screen as "bringing something."

Corso made gameday what it is today! F you don't ever talk about corso you jacka$$ the man had a stroke, that's why he would forget lines and have trouble talking. He was the best thing that show has had. But its time for him to ride into the sunset.

I'd like them to bring in Bobby Bowden

I actually think Herbies really good and does put the homerism aside. He likes LSU a lot this year so not sure where you're getting that from.

That is the most praise I have ever heard Palmer lay down on LSU. Of course, he was in LA at the time of the interview.

It will be interesting to hear his comments on LSU once he gets back to Conn. And his tune usually changes during Florida week.

Jesse Palmer has been very critical of LSU in the past, almost Mark May (not 2003 Mark May) critical. So, for him to say this is fairly significant, I think.

He seems pretty objective most of the time, and even though I haven't always liked what he's said, he is usually right, or close to it.

I love it when a commentator says something positive, he's a great, smart guy that people just have always liked.

If he says anything negative, heaven forbid, he's a jackass and doesn't know shite about football and/or a complete homer for (insert team or conference).

I've always thought Palmer was pretty good...whether he was negative or positive.

I don't really mind Herbstreit that much either FWIW

this.

But I've always respected Jesse Palmer's, Mark May's, and even Herbies opinion.
