I was watching Lonesome Dove for the eleventy-billionth time this weekend, and I got to thinking that as many movies as I've seen Robert Duvall in, I always associate him with the role of Gus McCrae.
Another example for me is Keanu Reeves as Ted Theodore Logan (I just noticed the redundancy of his name. Lol) from Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

So what are some of the roles the MTVBoard thinks of whenever an actor's name is mentioned?

Daniel Radcliffe will always be Harry Potter, no matter what else he does.

Chris Reeves will always be remembered as Superman.

When Charlton Heston Was King of Bacchus in 1983, the crowd shouted "Moses, Moses!"

Unless that name is Dirty Harry.

A couple more that have more than one major character who they are strongly associated with:

Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones or Han Solo.
Sylvester Stallone as Rocky or Rambo.

Even though these guys have made a ton of other movies, I will always think of them in these roles first.

This. I've been watching Wilfred (great show btw) and all I can see when I look at him is Frodo.

Also, I associate Rainn Wilson with Dwight in everything he does.

ETA: For some reason, out of all the movies he has done, I associate Keanu Reeves with Shane Falco from the Replacements.
